This place is very clean and offers great value, with an unbeatable location close to the center and neolithic monuments, and the breakfast was satisfying.

We were given a tastefully decorated room with balcony, a great view and crisp white sheets. Liked good breakfast and had a really enjoyable stay overall of 12 nights.

The kindness of the managers. The exceptional position for visiting the menhir alignements and for going around the Quiberon gulf and really all the Morbihan region. At 100 m there is one of the best traditinal "creperie bretonne": "La Pompe". In face of the hotel there is a large free parkink. Remember that in all Bretagne al 10.30 P.M. everyone is sleeping and is very difficult to find an opend pub.

This place is only a 10 minute stroll from the Megaliths at Menec, which is why my husband and I chose to stay there. It was the perfect location from which to view the sites as a couple travelling without a car- the bus from Auray stops right out the front, which is handy since many parts of town are not well serviced by public transport. The hotel staff were accommodating and tolerant of our poor/non-existent French (we're Australian) and as helpful as they could be in every way. Also, our room was sunny and spacious with a nice big window and balcony, and there were a few excellent creperies and things nearby. Basic facilities like ATMs were close as well. Overall we couldn't have been happier with our stay there.
The only bummer was the free wifi which kept dropping out, making the planning of our onward journey difficult...might have been a better connection downstairs though as we were on the first floor.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Les Alignements. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring the megaliths and the historic town center, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
If I had one suggestion to improve the breakfast choices, it would be to offer more affordable options.

Very good value, roomy and close to the standing stones of Carnac. Very little english spoken but we got by. Rooms a little dated but very large and clean. Bathrooms roomy. Would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful welcome, and I had a lovely garden view room. The food was excellent (it is a 'Logis' hotel). Very handy location for visiting the Standing Stones, and also a nice town to explore with the coast not far away. Plenty of free parking opposite the hotel.
Breakfast was served from 8 A.M., but no doubt we could have had it earlier if necessary.

The room was clean. The bathroom was very dated with no shower but had been cleaned. Only a 10 minute walk to the stones.
Although not as expensive as some other hotels in Carnac, the facilities were basic. Noise/televisions of other rooms easily heard through the walls. The hotel had a restaurant, which was our last option, but even then we were surprised at the terrible standard of the meal which was 23 e a head. Everything was from the cash and carry it seemed and both desserts were actually mouldy! I think the locals knew something we didn't and gave this place a really wide berth - the dining room was vast and empty! We asked for a bottle of local cider as the wine was so marked up and on checking out we discovered we had been charged 15 euros for it. Ditto the tiny aperitifs. Breakfast for 9 euros was adequate but limited. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if there is another available choice - take it! If stuck there - don't stay for dinner.
